Our cabin is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation with family or friends up to six adults and yet still cozy enough for two. The cabin kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs including; refrigerator, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, pots, pans, cups, plates, and utensils. 

There is HD Directv, DVD player, outdoor propane grill and the cabin has AC & heat if desired.
Note: There is a washer and dryer which is available for your use but due to the water holding tank we would ask that you use it only if absolutely necessary. 

The location of the cabin guarantees privacy as there are very few other cabins in the area.
The upstairs loft area has sloped ceilings with limited headroom.
Beds have fresh linens, blankets and pillows. Be sure to bring your own food and personal care items.

Besides just enjoying the peace and quiet of the cabin, Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort provides many activities for all ages as well as restaurants for dining options if desired. Free activities for you to enjoy include tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, volleyball court, ping pong, and billiards. Many other activities including the swimming pool, horseback rides, ATV rentals, miniature golf, and multiple guided activities are available at an additional cost.

Special Note: Water for the cabin is delivered from the Ponderosa Resort to a water holding tank located at the cabin. Water for the cabin is completely safe to use but since it is held in our tank, we suggest drinking bottled water. Water from the tap is perfectly safe and usable for cooking, showering and everything else. We will provide some drinking water but if you are in a larger group you will need to bring additional drinking water.

Phone service is dependent on the provider. Verizon works great, even has 3G most of the time, although it can be spotty. Other providers may not work as well. Zion Ponderosa is the closest place to get free WiFi if needed. There are places at the lodge like the coffee bar, restaurant, pool or other common areas where you can connect to the internet.

Altitude: The cabin is at about 6,500’ above sea level. If you have any heart problems or coming from sea level, you may notice a difference.

Weather: The cabin area is typically 9 to 13°F cooler than Zion National Park. There is typically a large temperature swing in the high desert between day and night, typically a 30° to 40° difference. Below is a link to the area weather from the National Weather Service Website.
